Ice Cream Enterprise
We are looking for young, creative, budding entrepreneurs to manage and operate their very own pop up ice cream retail sites in some of London’s prime locations across the Summer, in partnership with Unilever.
Candidates will be placed into teams, within which, it is their responsibility to manage and operate all aspects of their given site. It is up to your team, as to what is the best way to maximize your output, market your destination and to creatively engage your audience.
Each individual will be placed on a training program where you will gain a well rounded grounding in an array of business skills, including: Branding & marketing, sales, manufacturing, and specific skills to run your own site, such as stock taking, accounting and how to deal with logistical issues on-site.
Your progress will be reviewed weekly and you will receive mentoring and advice throughout the program. The course will culminate in a week of sessions to set up a follow-on process for all participants from the program, to help you utilize all the skills learned and to continue your journey with us.
You will earn a London Living wage throughout the program with incentivised bonuses, based on the success of your site.

What Not to Include in Your CV?
'CV' or 'resume'
What shouldn't you include in your CV?
The person doing the hiring should be able to skim through your CV and see your qualifications without knowing everything about you. Because CVs are typically only one to two pages long, it should contain only information that relates to the job for which you are applying.
The rule of thumb is, when in doubt, leave it out. Here is a list of items that should not be on your CV.
What Not to Include in Your CV
'CV' or 'resume'
Do not label your CV 'CV.' Also use your name so the person will know whose CV it is at a glance. e.g. 'John.Smith.cv.doc'
The date you wrote the CV
Some people make the mistake of dating their CVs. The dates you include regarding past education and employment are the only dates you need to include.
Personal info
Do not include any personal information beyond your address, email, and phone number. Leave out your age, date of birth, race, sex, sexual orientation, religion, political affiliation, and the names and ages of your spouse and/or children. While some of this information may be required, it should be left out.
Photographs
Most companies will prefer you not to include a photograph so they can safely adhere to the Equal Employment Opportunity legislation (which prohibits companies from making hiring decisions for discriminatory reasons). An exception would be if you were applying for a modelling or acting job.
Physical characteristics (height, weight, etc)
Like a photograph, including your physical characteristics on a CV opens the door to possible accusations of discrimination against the company.
Unrelated work experience
You don't need to list every job you have held. Generally, you only want to include positions you have held in the past 10 years, unless an earlier job strongly demonstrates your qualifications. Leave out any positions that are unrelated to the job for which you are applying unless it will leave gaps on your CV.
If, on the other hand, you have limited job experience, you can include slightly unrelated positions as long as you demonstrate how they prepared you for a job in your new field. E.g., if you are applying for a job in sales, you can include your earlier job as a cashier if you explain that the job helped you develop your customer service skills.
Names and contact information for former employers
Because you will have a separate list of references, you do not need to include any contact information for your former employers on your CV.
Salary history
Salary is an issue you can discuss with the employer during an interview or once you have been offered the job; you do not want to establish a salary range before you have even been offered an interview.
"References available upon request"
Generally it is assumed that a job applicant will have references. Send the hiring manager references when you are asked to provide them.
Unrelated hobbies
Leave them out. If you have a hobby that relates to the company, include it.

Nine top job hunting tips for graduates
Advice that can help you to look and apply for a job and prepare for an interview
1. Get you know your strengths, weaknesses and skills so you know what type of job you are most suited to.
2. Keep your CV up to date. There are endless websites offering helpful tips, including how to make your CV a good, readable length, a smart and original layout and even helping to explain recent layoffs and career changes.
3. Make sure your applications are high quality. 70 graduates on average apply for each graduate job according to the Association of Graduate Recruiters (AGR) so make sure that your application stands out for the right reasons. Tailor your CV for each job you apply for and have someone else proof it before you send it out. If you suck at spelling and grammar get a friend to check it over with you. Avoid mistakes; employers are particularly hot on this.
4. Learn to sell yourself and your skills. Be confident about the experience you have and how great you are. If you don't, who will? Promoting yourself in a positive light is not the same as bragging. Think positively about all the experience you have gained so far and convey it to potential employers both on your CV and at interview.
5. Research everything. Decide what industry sector your ideal graduate job is in then do your homework. Look at the companies in that sector, the type of work available, starting salaries and career progression. The more informed and interested you are, the better your chances come interview time.
6. Network. "It's not what you know, it's who you know" as the saying goes. Establish a relationship with someone, and maintain it, especially your weak-tie acquaintances. Those people you met at that one networking event, or that friend of a friend who does marketing at a record label. These acquaintances are often more important than good friends because weak ties give us access to social networks where we don't otherwise belong. In other words, make sure to touch base with people in your broader social network every few months — you never know who is going to give you your next big opportunity. Also join your university alumni society, a great way to network!
7. Put some thought into your online profile and the impression it gives to potential employers. Companies will use social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin to attract people to their brand via competitions, interactive games and viral campaigns. You may be following one of the world’s largest graduate recruiters without knowing. Link to them and they will see your profile. Make the most of it!
8. Start a blog. A blog should be seen as an extension of your CV. It can offer proof of your knowledge and insight, as well as a way to exercise your brain and keep you on top of your game, even if you only get 10 hits a day. One way to get noticed in an industry is to position yourself as an authority figure or a thought leader in the space. Starting a blog is a great way to show others what you're interested in and a great way to interact with a community of people with common interests.
9. Stay positive. Finding a job is hard task and takes time. Desperation doesn’t come across well in interviews so follow these tips and keep your chin up!
